This course is ideal for anyone who requires a basic knowledge of first aid, it enables participants to respond to basic emergencies and advanced candidates are recommended to progress to the full FAW 3-day qualification.

This course has been mapped to the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 (Part 3), the Care Quality Commission (Registration) Regulations 2009 (Part 4), and the CQC Guidance for providers on meeting the regulations. It also complies with Regulation 12 Safe Care and Treatment and Regulation 18 Staffing of the CQC fundamental standards are met.
This course is delivered on site, at the client’s premises or nominated venue.
Summary & Booking
This course is a 1 day first aid course, it allows participants to achieve a basic competency in emergency first aid at work (EFAW) and is assessed by the tutor on the day, to the current UK resuscitation council guidelines 2015. Candidates will have an emergency first aid at work certificate that is valid for 3 years.
